　　前 言

　　【色之谐】展览的缘起是计划在艺术粮仓给闫平女士和周刚先生办一个有意思的展览，闫平女士的作品強烈而率性，她绘画的纯粹在业内有目共睹，也是我内心一直向往的色彩世界。而我与周刚先生十多年的交往，彼此都认为是一种遇事可以托付的情份，当然他对绘画的挚爱和激情我也可以深深懂得。不论是出于艺术粮仓的定位，还是出于我个人的本心，抑或从绘画纯粹出发，我也极愿意做这个展览。

　　如今艺术粮仓处在一个重要的节点，在"学术"不再是学术的时候，东、西方的艺术该何去何从? 这个展览，我们将它命名为"色之谐"。当然，色之谐，还仅仅是开始。

　　Foreword

　　“Harmony of colors” The original intention for this exhibition is to give Ms. Yan Ping and Mr. Zhou Gang an interesting sketch exhibition in the Art Granary, and The work of Ms. Yan is so strong in emotion, and full of frank, so pure that already recognized obvious to all in the industry, describing and a colorful world I've always longed in my heart. Besides, I have a ten-year relationship with Mr. Zhou, and entrusted to each other so much that, of course, his love and passion for painting can be well understood. So whether it's out of Art Granary, or for my own heart, or from the purity of painting, I'd like to do this.

　　Now, the Art Granary is at an important node, and when the “academic” is no longer academic, what course should the art of the East and the West to follow? We named the exhibition as “Harmony of colors”. Of course, the harmony of colors is just the beginning.

　　闫平，出生于山东省济南市，中国人民大学教授，中国美术家协会理事，中国油画家学会理事，中国美协油画艺委会委员，中国美术馆学术委员会委员

　　周刚，生于陕西，祖籍山东，1988年中国美术学院本科毕业，获学士学位，同年留校任教至今，1992年中国美术学院油画研修班毕业，1998年中国美术学院研究生毕业，获硕士学位，1999年中国美术学院水彩高级研修班毕业，中国美术学院教授，中国美术学院中国水彩画研究中心主任，中国美术家协会水彩艺术委员会副主任，中国流行色协会理事、教育委员会副主任

　　艺术粮仓位于北京市东城区东四十条南新仓，主体建筑始建于明朝永乐七年(公元1409年)，为明清两代储存皇粮俸米的皇家粮仓，2001年被列入国家级文物保护单位。

　　艺术粮仓所在的南新仓五号仓，是现存八座粮仓中的一座。也是唯一一座无立柱粮仓，建筑面积450平米。艺术粮仓在维持原建筑600余年古典形式的基础上，将空间改造为诠释现代和当代艺术与精神的场所。我们致力于成为一间包容、开放的美术馆，不同的文化、媒介、历史、社会立场将于此重新审视，创造性的观念、思想将于此自由表达。艺术粮仓将通过分享展览和公共活动，与您一起理解文化艺术以及我们自身所处的时代，使美术馆成为城市的精神粮仓。

　　Located at Nanxincang, Dongsishitiao, Dongcheng District, Beijing, the Granary Gallery boasts its main building as the former Imperial Granary (built in 1409 AD and listed in the National Cultural Relics Protection List in 2001) for the Ming and Qing dynasties. The Gallery is housed in Barn No.5, one of the eight existing barns and the only one without any pillar, with a building area of 450 square meters.

　　On the basis of maintaining the classical form of the original over-600-year-old building, the Granary Gallery transforms its space into a place to interpret modern and contemporary art and spirit. It is committed to becoming an inclusive and open art gallery where different cultures, media, histories and social standpoints will be reexamined and where creative ideas and ideologies will be expressed freely. By offering exhibitions and public events, the Granary Gallery will comprehend cultures, arts and our own times together with you, growing into the spiritual granary of the city.
